An independent Australian publisher of calculators and guides covering energy rebates, incentives and finance programs, with a NSW focus. We are not a government body, not an installer, and not a lender. Every figure we publish is calculated from published scheme rules and checked against the official sources linked on each page.

What we are not

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NSW Government, the Australian Government, or any agency of either. Scheme names like Home Energy Saver and Cheaper Home Batteries belong to the governments that run them. If you want the official pages, we link them prominently in every guide and in the footer of every page.

How we make money, in one paragraph

We keep the calculators and guides free by referring readers who ask for quotes to accredited partner installers, who may pay us a fee for that referral. This never changes the figures we publish. If you never ask for quotes, you can use every calculator and read every guide free, forever, and we are fine with that. The figures never change based on who pays us, and no partner can buy a better number.

Why trust the numbers

• Every rate lives in one published rates file, stamped with the date we last checked it.
• Every guide links its government sources at the bottom of the page.
• When a scheme changes, we update the site and the date stamp together. Our editorial policy covers the full rules, including corrections.
